Polish archaeologists discovered over 800 years onetime burials during excavations near the medieval church building of San Michele del Golfo near Palermo inwards Sicily. According to the scientists, the graves could belong to the Normans, descendants of the Vikings.
"Some of the dead buried inwards the cemetery were undoubtedly members of the elites or the clergy, every bit the shape of about of the graves indicates" - says caput of excavations Prof. Sławomir Moździoch from the Institute of Archaeology too Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences inwards Wroclaw.
