An Imperial Roman villa has been constitute along the banks of the Tiber nigh the Milvian Bridge, archaeologists said Tuesday.
Digs convey uncovered a large flooring expanse inward 'opus sectile', decorated amongst "extraordinary" multicoloured marble floral motifs, they said.
The beauty of the flooring has led experts to believe that the residue of the edifice was sum of precious decorations.
The villa's setting in addition to then to a greater extent than or less the river is unusual, archaeologists said.
