In a late published paper* inwards the journal, Historical Biology, researchers study confirmation that sediments bearing early on human cultural remains inwards the Cueva Negra del Estrecho del Río Quípar rockshelter inwards southeastern Kingdom of Spain are dated to over 800,000 years ago. The sediments include an Acheulean fashion stone handaxe together with bear witness for the role of burn inside the rockshelter.
